It's me, Minako Joyner Inoue!
I'm a USPTR(United States Professional Tennis Registry)tennis pro—and have been since 1995. I am also a certified personal trainer and specialize in training men and women of all ages in swimming, running and general fitness.

I love Minako's class! She is a great teacher! I always look forward to Mondays and Wednesdays with her. She is always friendly and up beat. Having her as a teacher is very rewarding and I enjoy all my lessons with her.

I have enjoyed tennis at the Olympic for many years. Since Minako had joined us, many more activities have been added to the program.She is an excellent instructor, with the gift of being able to recognize at once what we need to do to become better players, and then helping us do so. She is my lovely mom! Although my real name is "Tonkichi" actually, she called me 'Pigman' since I have heavy breathing like pig. So she cannot sometimes sleep well because of my snoring.

Acura Classic 2006 Results

Maria Sharapova defeated top-seeded Kim Clijsters of Belgium 7-5, 7-5 Sunday to win the championship of the Acura Classic.

The victory, before a capacity crowd of 6,500 on Stadium Court, represented Sharapova’s second title of 2006 and her 12th career tour singles title.

MINAKO INOUE - USPTR Professional

In order to coach tennis, Minako moved to San Diego from Japan in 2001. She really likes this friendly community and believes that San Diego is very nice place to play any kinds of sports all over the world.

During Minako playing career at Tokyo Women's College of Physical Education (TWCPE), she was a four-year letter winner and helped the TWCPE women's tennis team to successful seasons in 1982-1986.
